The kingdom of heaven is like a field that a man sowed with good seed…but the enemy sowed weeds among the wheat. “Do you want us to go and pull them up?” asked the servants. “No” said the owner “Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will gather the weeds to be burned and gather the wheat into my barn”. (Mtt. 13:24-30). Jesus is teaching His disciples eschatology. He is teaching them one of the most difficult truths about the Kingdom of God: that it is here right now, but not fully; not triumphantly. It is always partial.
