THE TOPIC

A tsunami of social changes in America has led to a renewed urgency of answering the question: What is the Christian's relationship to the State (Society)? Assimilate or accomodate? Withdraw or engage? When and how should Christians speak out on ethical issues and public policy? I Peter was the first letter, in the first century, by the 'first' apostle to address the question of our relationship to the state. How should we endure the consequences of 'not conforming' to the practices of the pagans? How can we B.L.E.S.S. our nieghbors and love our enemies and thus, follow Christ in the midst of the world that crucified Jesus?
